Epson has produced an entry-level A4 UV flatbed printer specifically to meet the needs of small businesses in the promotional goods sector. The SC-V1000 can print directly onto a range of substrates with a thickness of up to 70mm.
Featuring an integrated 6-colour (CMYK plus white and varnish) replaceable ink pack system and an integrated air filtration system and odour reducing function as standard, the SC-V1000 also offers USB or Wi-Fi connectivity options, and comes with Epson Edge Print Rip software and connection to Epson Port.
The newcomer will be shown at SDUK next month and will be available from Epson resellers from July.
