Swift Signs wins Epson SureColor SCT-7000

Swift Signs, Weymouth, has won an Epson SureColor SCT-7000 printer worth £3,000 via the recent Spandex Open House.

“We were amazed to receive a call saying that we had won the Epson SureColor SCT-7000. We strive to expand our presence in existing and new markets as part of our business strategy and the Epson will make an excellent addition to our current digital printing facilities,” said Karl Lantree and Dominic Smith, partners at Swift Signs.

The two-day Spandex Open House in Bristol earlier this month attracted 540 visitors across its 22 stands, three vehicle wrapping booths and 18 pieces of print and production equipment on demonstration.

“We had the largest number of product launches than any previous event,” said Leon Watson, general manager, Spandex UK.

Mike Bees from Dec Tek in Pontypridd had to change his visiting plans: “Our team had originally planned to attend the event for around two hours. However, we were so captivated by the demonstration of equipment and the myriad of information on hand that we stayed all day, and our technical manager even attended on the second day.”

Sophie Millard from Millard Signs added: "We come to the Open House every year to source new products and ideas and this year was just as successful. It was good to spend time talking to the Spandex staff about various products that you wouldn't normally find time to do."

The Open House saw the official launch of ‘Essentials’, Spandex’ new product guide; and Worksmart, Clarity’s bespoke MIS. The Worksmart software links with all products within the Essentials Guide, allowing users to develop a quotation tracking system.
