Hollanders brings out 2.5m ColorBooster 250

The first deliveries of Hollanders' new entry-level ColorBooster 250 2.5m wide-format printer are scheduled for the New Year. The machine will debut at SGIA expo in Orlando next month, where the company will also show the 3.2m ColorBooster XL and introduce double-sided ColorBooster DS options to the American market.

The ColorBooster 250 is designed to bring digital textile printing to a wider audience and incorporates many of the features built into the ColorBooster XL. It is suitable for interior applications when used with dye-sublimation inks or as a multi-functional system for indoor and outdoor wide-format graphics when using direct disperse dyes.

The printer, which can handle a broad selection of polyester materials, is available in three versions, with upgrade paths from the Starter and Productivity Editions to the Ultimate Edition. Prices start at 99,760 Euro for the Starter Edition, rising to 124,240 Euro for the Productivity Edition and 149,850 Euro for the Ultimate Edition.

Quoted print speeds (attainable at the highest quality level for a specific application/media) are as follows:

50m2/h - 1xCMYK - HS Flag 600x600
