Callprint growth spurt continues with PPS Print Communications acquisition

Callprint has acquired of the business operations of Manchester-based PPS Print Communications. The company has also taken on all five members of the current PPS staff, and confirmed that the business will continue to run uninterrupted and service its clients as PPS, as well as acting as a Manchester hub for Callprint’s operations in the north. It will convert into being a full Callprint operation in the next three months.

Callprint has been looking to establish a foothold in the Manchester area to add to its regional hubs. PPS Print Communications handles all kind of print projects, and has an in-house design team. Callprint is now investing in new equipment for the operation, with a Xerox Color J75 Press being installed with immediate effect. In addition PPS has a breadth of kit including wide-format print and finishing.

Callprint group managing director, Steve Cheek, said: “Callprint is continuing to grow and this new location gives us increased coverage across the UK as well as introducing our services and products to the Manchester region.”

This latest acquisition underlines Callprint’s original statement of intention a year ago to grow its sales to £25m within two years, including via acquisitive measures.
