Italian-based W2P company Pixartprinting has started offering Plexiglas printing. Available to order directly from the firm's website, in thicknesses ranging from 3mm to 5mm, the printed Plexiglas sheets can be provided up to 200 x 300cm.
Effects ranging from iridescence to translucence can be achieved, and customers can choose from two options: a transparent version, on which colours can be accentuated by printing a selective or solid layer of white, or a version with an opal background, perfect for backlighting.
Pixartprinting uses vertical milling machines and special blades to shape the Plexiglas products. These can be customised via users uploading their own artwork through the templates available on the website.
