Sabur Ink Systems has signed exclusive distribution rights for the DGI range of sublimation and textile printers in the UK and Ireland.
The company will sell the HSFT and HSFT II industrial sublimation printers. The HSFT II will be available for demonstration at the Barnsley showroom from the beginning of November.
Sabur will also distributing the FT1904 and FT1908 textile printers, which run the same printhead technology as the HSFT printers and can print at a speed of up to 175m2 per hour. These models are able to print directly onto natural fabrics such as cottons and silks alongside polyester fabrics with the use of reactive, acid and disperse dyes. Pigment inks are expected early 2016.
“We are very excited about the UK distribution with DGI as this further expands on our sublimation offering to the UK. The HSFT printer has been widely praised around the world by customers for its reliability and performance in the sublimation sector. Within our showroom we now have eight different printers for customers to openly test to find the best suit for their business alongside a Klieverik calendar press, making it one of the largest sublimation showrooms in the UK,” said Sabur digital development director Aaron Burton.
