Manchester-based Astra Signs has printed the graphics for Barcelona FC’s team bus used for the recent UEFA Champions League matches. Covering the entire team bus including the windows, the vehicle wrap was printed onto PVC material from Drytac's Polar range using an HP Latex 570 printer.
Fespa Global Print Expo will return to Munich, Germany in 2021, together with its co-located event for non-printed signage, European Sign Expo. The events will run for four days, from 18 to 21 May 2021.
The Westcoast Group has bought Colourgen. The wide-format print distributor will continue to trade operate as an autonomous business from its offices in Maidenhead and will carry on offering the same portfolio of products and services with the same staff. Jeff Biggs, who founded Colourgen in 1987, is retiring. Managing director Mark Lambert will continue in a management role at Colourgen alongside members of the Westcoast management team.
EFI is using Fespa Global for the European premiere its Fiery ProServer Premium with GPU hardware acceleration combined with Fiery DFE software, together said to deliver up to twice the speed of EFI’s superwide-format printers.
