BAF Graphics is behind the stunning graphics that meet visitors to The View from The Shard in London. The company was appointed by fit out contractor Benchworks and design group Event Communications to support the ambitious decoration project.

Avery Dennison has expanded its PET recycling programme via two new collection facilities in Europe. Waste PET liners can now be sold directly to Avery Dennison's recycling partner Morssinkhof Rymoplast, either at its main plant in Zeewolde, the Netherlands, or at collection facilities in Lichtenvoorde, also in the Netherlands, and Przeczno in Poland.

Kyocera is opening an inkjet printhead design centre at its European headquarters in Esslingen, Germany on 23 September. It will provide technical support for printers that use Kyocera printheads and customers will be able to visit the centre to test and evaluate print quality under various conditions with their particular media.

At two open days, taking place at Agfa UK's headquarters in Leeds on 9 – 10 October, wide-format printing equipment distributor i-Sub Digital will host live demonstrations of the Agfa Anapurna M2050. Demonstrations will also include cutting and finishing on a Zund cutting table and attendees are invited to bring their own files to test both machines.

Fashion designer Henry Holland has used graphics printed by Displayways on an Océ Arizona UV flatbed printer, together with a giant angled mirror, for his London Fashion Week catwalk show. The technique is a fashion first and created the illusion that models at the show were walking on clouds.
